Trifels Castle

Trifels Castle was originally built during the 10th century and was once of the castles which belonged to the Roman Emperors. This castle is famous because the famous Richard the first was imprisoned by Henry VI, the Roman Emperor in this castle in 1193. Richard was captured when he was returning from the battle and was shifted to this castle since it was a secured and protective place. In the year 1194, Richard eventually returned to England. This castle offers a magnificent panoramic view of the countryside. From the topmost points of this castle tourists can see the panoramic view of the surrounding area.
